its very confusing and weird that you spend the whole game battling in single pokemon format, then the competitive standard is doubles, which again you never do in the normal game, and a huge majority of the pvp content creators participate only in single pokemon formats and clime those ladders (which are irrelevant to official pokemon competitions which again are strictly double battle format)why did/do game freak do this, why not just pick a singular format and go with it... its so bizarre that most the community only do single mon format which is actually irrelevant as far as official tournaments go.... but why dont people like double battles????
so the players dont like doubles even though game freak has forced it making all single pokemon battle content irrelevant yet its the huge majorityp refer by viewers based on social media numbers, why stick to the less popular format as the official one? why make the less popular format official in the first place? why isnt single pokemon battles good enough to be official even though its more popular?
