Has anyone ever used the save file backup tool on an R4 and accidentally restored the wrong save data into the wrong cartridge? IE a Sapphire .SAV into a copy of Leaf Green?I just did that earlier today and got something similar to pic related with scrambled text and everything was broken.
Luckily I was able to delete it and put the appropriate save file back in but it rattled me for a second. Everything seems to be back to normal but would this kind of thing damage the cartridge? I feel like this might’ve been able to destroy the flash RAM or hurt it’s longevity. I’m still a little shaken up about it
