The real question in the pokemon lore: why did Giratina attack Cyrus? They have the same purposeCynthia says he was probably trying to protect himself, but he's already dead and a ghost. Is it possible if Cyrus succeeds, Giratina would be erased anyway or end up in a void dimension?
Wasn't there another way for Giratina to handle the situation rather than attack Cyrus, similarly to how he did with Volo? In that case Cyrus would succeed 100% of the times because in Platinum neither the pixies nor the usable character manage to stop him. Only Giratina
